My zen Moroccan bathroom

12 May

Lately I’ve been wanting to update our teeny bathroom a bit. I know it sounds crazy to those who know my husband and I because we are moving soon, but these small updates are not expensive and will be perfect for the summer. Our bathroom is a very light green right now, something like this.

green-xlgWe have had the same shower curtain up for a while, and I was ready for a change. So, I took a trip to Target this morning and got a new shower curtain that I’d been eyeing for a while. I also bought a rug with a slightly different design to complement the curtain. While I was leaving that aisle, I saw this tumbler from the Nate Berkus collection and snatched it up, too. I think it will be a nice accent piece to go with the neutral colors.

We also have a basket on the back of the toilet that looks similar to this one, but I couldn’t find our exact basket. I’ll be sure to include it in the picture though. I didn’t buy this or this (yet!), but I really like how they might look in the room as well.

Until I post a photo update, here’s an idea of what it will look like:

I’m not finished yet, but I like the look of the room so far. I’ll update soon with a photo so you can see it. I still
want to add something with a pop of color, but not sure what that will be yet. Any ideas?
PS — Happy Mothers Day to all the moms out there…especially MINE! 🙂

Thanks, Miranda! I think it will be a nice spring to summer look, too. 🙂
