Project 365: Week 2 Recap

16 Nov

This week it was difficult to capture a photo a day for my Project 365. I caught up today, because I was traveling for work this week. Here’s a recap of Week 2:

Day 8 (November 8, 2013): Cactus near the Alamo in San Antonio, TX

Day 9 (November 9, 2013): Tagua beads from my new necklaceDay9_Tagua beads

Day 10 (November 10, 2013): Garlic

Day 12 (November 12, 2013): Shoots

Day 13 (November 13, 2013): Stitches

Day 14: (November 14, 2013): Carved woodDay14_Carved wood

I got some good feedback from my Project 365 Facebook group about the photo for Day 12. A few people felt that the white parts of the leaves were too blown out and that I should have cloned out the spot at the top of the image. That’s actually the tip of the leaf, but I can see how changing the exposure and cloning out the tip of the leaf could help.

I think that the cactus is my favorite from this week.

Which is your favorite? Any other constructive criticism?

They are really good photos! Is the online course helping you?

Yes, definitely! I need to go back and watch a few videos. I also have to finish watching 2 or 3 in the 102 course, but I would highly recommend it. The nice thing is that if you do it, you can always go back for a refresher by just opening the videos you need! 🙂
