Week 5’s recap is all about our trip. We had a wonderful time in Amsterdam, although it rained 3 of the 4 days we were there. I was able to get some fun shots though and hope you enjoy!
Day 29 (November 29, 2013): Traditional Dutch clogs. We got a small pair to hang on our photo gallery wall, so once we add those and some more travel photos, I’ll share a gallery wall update 🙂Day 30 (November 30, 2013): Handmade Gouda. Need I say more?!?
Day 32 (December 2, 2013): Breakfast spot in Amsterdam. We didn’t eat here, but the red table and chairs and the soft glow of the light in the window caught my attention.Day 33 (December 3, 2013): Old Fiat 500. I loved the pop of color this car gave against the very neutral background. It was one of the few cars that wasn’t parked by a lot of other cars on this block and as soon as I spotted it across the canal, I knew I had to snap this one.
Day 34 (December 4, 2013): Peeking past the stairs into a small print shop. This is one of my favorites from our trip. The stairs really felt cold after the rain that day, but the shop itself was warm and inviting. The prints were all of local sites. I’m kicking myself now for not getting one!
Day 35 (December 5, 2013): Woman cycling through the tunnel near the Rijksmuseum. I only wish I had gotten the tops of the arches here, but I love the details in the glass and columns. It’s also a neat way to see the cyclists waiting at the stoplight across the street.
Any favorites from this or the last Recap post?
